Ceremony at The Meadows (11/11/22)

November 12, 2022

I am grateful for Ceremony. I can’t think of any other band that evolved in a way that feels so relatable.

You’re always on the hook for the next song, anticipating if they’ll pick a super fast hardcore song or a slower new-wave one.

A Ceremony show is as unpredictable as it is dependable. It’s a full-on adrenalin rush until they leave the stage.

Somehow a Ceremony show always feels forward. All these anniversary tours that bands from that era tend to do get old fast. I am glad they kept pushing and doing something so singular.

I highly recommend catching them on this tour (or any tour) and checking out Ross’ first collection of poems right here.

I used an olympus mju-2 and a roll of Ilford HP5 pushed to 800. Processed a few hours later with HC-110.
